I'm In Big Trouble

It started snowing on Saturday and it hasn't stopped since. In fact, they even closed the schools yesterday. I lived in UT for 7 years and never once were the schools closed. And already, with the first snow storm of the year the schools are closed!! I told Ben he may have to ship me back to CA until April. I'm not sure about this. Here are some pictures of the boys playing in the snow on Saturday when we were getting just a "dusting" of snow. It wasn't to cold that morning, but has since dropped cold enough with the lawns having collected 5 to 6 inches of snow. It's going to take a lot of talking mom into playing in the snow again!

This is Caleb trying to get back up on the slippery ice. He never did get up...I had to help him.

I've decided to post this picture so that someday when Luke is whining about having to shovel the driveway I can remind him that he used to like shoveling snow!

Luke looks so cute and grown up shoveling the snow! They closed the schools? I can't remember school ever being closed growing up in Canada :) If you ever want to escape to California you can come stay with us - we would love it!!

Come visit Texas, Nicole. Seriously. Ben can handle himself on his own. I've got room for you and the boys and you can get out of that snow!! It's only fun for the first week :)

And I love your post on ghetto-style.

Oh man SNOW!! Not just a little either!! You can do it Nicole!!

But, I have to say, there are definite advantages to weather in the Bay Area. I don't think my kids have ever owned snow/winter coats!!

Keep warm!

I dread the day when I will live in snow again. I prefer to just go visit the snow once or twice a year! Good luck! :)

Oh my Niki! I am sooo sorry for you. I never did make it through a full winter in Provo. I was always running away as soon as Christmas was over and the novelty had worn off...I can't imagine what's in store for you. Good luck!!

Hey there....remember when you gave Myra my email, well she finally wrote yesterday! Anyway, I found your blog through hers, it's super cute! I just started one myself, I know nothing about the computer so it's taking me awhile to understand it all. Hope all is well, I must say nursery is not the same without you and Ben..I wish I could get released!

Niki! Wow, you have WAY more readers on your blog than me... 7 comments on this one! Congrats! haha I have been keeping one for about a year now, but I go through dry spells every now and again. They oddly coincide with midterm and finals weeks... go figure. Anyway, I'm so glad I can keep in touch with you now! Do any of your siblings have blogs as well?
