She's Here!

Greta Catherine was born Tuesday, December 1st at 5:02am.
7 lbs 4 oz
20 inches

Check out all the hair!!

Birth story in a nut shell...I was scheduled to be induced on Tuesday morning at 6:00am. Throughout this pregnancy my platelets dropped really low and the doctors were unable to get them high enough to make everyone comfortable, including me. They planned to transfuse me with platelets the morning of the induction so that I would have less risk of bleeding out and also so that I could get an epidural.

Instead of following the nice plan set up by the OB and Hematologist I woke up at 3:00am with pretty intense contractions. We arrived at the hospital at 3:45am and our baby came at 5:02am.

She's perfect and I'm immensly grateful to not be pregnant any more.

In other news, Luke lost his first tooth!

She is absolutely beautiful! I love all that hair. Hope you are both doing well. I've been wondering if it was around that time. Wish I could hold her. Congratulations! Oh and I can't believe Luke has already lost a tooth!

Yeay! So happy for you! Especially that you all are healthy. Our girls are exactly 6 months apart. :) I absolutely LOVE the name and thought I was the only one with that one on my radar! Enjoy every second. Having a girl will change your life!

Congratulations Rollins! She is gorgeous... I can't wait to see her little features come to. Glad you were all healthy and able to deliver, Niki. And her name is so adorable!

Yeah! I'm glad that everything turned out alright. Although I pretty sure that your story pointed to not actually getting an epidural. She's beautiful and I love all her dark hair! Maybe my little girl can look like that, since my other two toe-heads have looked so much more like their father at birth!
Congrats!

Congrats on Greta!! She is beautiful! Glad that the delivery went okay, though not as planned, and more importantly that you are both doing well! :)

We are going to be out in Utah for Christmas time- we'd love to get together sometime. Maybe we can meet up for dinner or something. I know the Taylor's are going to be out there as well. I'm not sure how you feel about going out with a newborn, so let me know. :)

How exciting. She is so small and cute. Its funny how we forget just how tiny our littles ones once were. We both have two boys and a girl, the question is who will have the next kid first... probably you guys. ;)

Have a Merry Christmas with your family of 5.
