I love Luvs diapers!! Back when Luke was little I tried the generic band diapers one time in order to save a little money...that's all it took. I didn't feel like I was saving any money because I had to change them every few hours in order to keep his clothes dry. After that, I continued to buy Huggies at Costco. Out here in the outskirts of New York we have no Costco and we're even more broke than we were. Soooo, I suffered through Target brand diapers (which aren't as bad as Safeway brand diapers) until I re-discovered Luvs! I tried them a few years ago and wasn't so crazy about them, but they've made some changes (namely, making the bands stretchy in order to stay on better rather than slipping off their rear and sagging between their knees) and now I think they're great AND they cost less than Huggies or Pampers. 3 cheers for Luvs!!!

I do the Costco thing, so I've never tried Luvs before. Thanks for the tip though. It's nice to give diapers for baby showers!
I had forgotten about Luvs! I just might have to try them next time we're out of diapers. I usually just get the huge box so that we don't run out as often, but my next Target run I think I'll have to try those out. I love saving money! (mostly so I can spend it somewhere else....!)
Isn't so fun how our lives are so focused on diapers!! I also buy the big box from Costco, and when Teagen was little I loved using pampers. Never tried Luvs, but I'm glad they are working for you!
i don't think i have ever tried luvs. if i find something i like, i usually stick with it, but we might have to try these out. i'm with sarah, i love to save money so i can spend it elsewhere!
Life must be a box of chocolates when you blog about diapers. the worst part is that I was genuinely interested. so sad for me.
I've never tried Luvs either. I'm still going for the cheap Target brand, but so far they have worked okay for us. But it's still fun to hear what other mom's are using.
Gonna have to look into this one. We're at the target brand level of broke. I've learned that you cannont let your child run around in just a target diaper. And moisture causes it to droop and certain dangly parts become exposed leading to other undesirable issues. So you always have to put pants or a onesie on them.
We used to buy Costco Kirkland diapers until I figured out the Costco Huggies are actually cheaper per diaper. Go figure!
